Steamplicity provides a diverse menu of chilled meals, crafted by chefs and dietitians, available 24/7 to meet patients' needs. Our chilled meals are cooked just before the patient receives them, putting freshly cooked vegetables back on the menu.
With 6.2 million meals served annually, our Cuisine Centre operates to world-class food safety standards, accredited by the British Retail Consortium.
Nutrition
Steamplicity’s steam-cooking process preserves more nutrients than conventional patient catering, keeping food healthier and tastier. Using natural moisture from the ingredients, our unique steam-release valve cooks meals to perfection within minutes.
Variety
Our menus are updated every 6 months to keep things fresh and exciting. Each week, we include a mix of fruits, vegetables, grains, pulses, and different types of meat and fish to offer variety and balance.
Quality
All our meals undergo rigorous testing for flavour, texture, and appearance, ensuring they're not only tasty but also meet all the necessary nutritional guidelines.
Flexibility
With a flexible à la carte menu, meals can be ordered just two hours before service. rom smaller portions and soups to finger foods and dishes thoughtfully crafted for dementia patients, there’s something to suit every patient.
The menus also cater to diverse needs, offering options for diabetes, high energy, softer diets, vegetarian, vegan, healthy choices, and ethnic cuisines.
